So, there\u2019s this guy \u2013 we\u2019ll call him Willis \u2013 and he has a problem.\u00a0It\u2019s between him and his wife, Wilma.\u00a0They\u2019re not getting along well.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And he doesn\u2019t know who to talk to.<\/p>\n

Even though he has good friends at work, he\u2019s not telling them.\u00a0He knows that, at times, his workplace seems like a gossip processing house.<\/p>\n

Even though he has a good relationship with his pastor, he won\u2019t talk to him.\u00a0He doesn\u2019t want to because, frankly, he\u2019s too embarrassed.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s afraid to tell his family. If his parents found out, they would immediately take his side, and that would injure their relationship with his wife, Wilma.<\/p>\n

Willis feels helpless.\u00a0And he is helpless.\u00a0He\u2019s helpless because he\u2019s believing a lie:
\nA lie that tells him he is alone.<\/em><\/p>\n

This concept of feeling aloneness is pretty universal.<\/p>\n

It’s more than just being alone. It’s more than occasional loneliness. It’s a feeling of aloneness — like you have been abandoned or you are isolated from anyone who can help you.<\/p>\n

If you’ve never felt it… well, I don’t know what to say to someone whose never felt it. We all feel it.<\/p>\n

This podcast speaks of aloneness, and how Christians should respond to these feelings.<\/p>\n
