His wife tells him that life is messy. He says, &#8220;I hate messy. It&#8217;s so&#8230; messy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s then when his mother, who seems to be struggling with a bit of dementia says something very profound.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>You know, when I was nineteen, Grandpa took me on a roller-coaster &#8211; Up, Down, Up, Down. Oh, what a ride!<\/p>\n<p>I always wanted to go again. You know it was just interesting that a ride could make me so frightened, so scared, so sick, so&#8230; so excited, and so thrilled&#8230; all together.<\/p>\n<p>Some didn&#8217;t like it. They went on the Merry-Go-Round. That just goes around&#8230;. Nothing. I like the rollercoaster; you get more out of it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I love that quote.<\/p>\n<p>Here comes a big hill.
