{"id":1161,"date":"2009-09-25T08:15:05","date_gmt":"2009-09-25T13:15:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shieldsgroup.com\/?p=1161"},"modified":"2009-09-25T08:16:16","modified_gmt":"2009-09-25T13:16:16","slug":"what-jesus-loves-in-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.shieldsgroup.com\/blog\/2009\/09\/25\/what-jesus-loves-in-children\/","title":{"rendered":"What Jesus Loves in Children&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Don&#8217;t you love children?\u00a0 <\/strong>Years ago I heard a story about a little girl who, during a lightning storm, was running from window to window smiling widely at the sky.<br \/>\nHer mother said, \u201cRebecca, what are you doing?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am smiling out the window!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy in heaven\u2019s name are you doing that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook at the flashes, Mom! God\u2019s taking my picture!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I am not sure that God was taking Rebecca\u2019s picture. I don\u2019t know that God needs a picture. He can always see us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But I do believe <\/strong>that God has a heart that loves like a father, like a mother, like a grandfather, like a grandmother. He loves us as children.
